Castle Priory Press is a brand-new imprint that specialises in helping authors to self-publish their books.

What makes us different?

Unlike many other publishers who offer this service, we will not accept all books we are sent – there is a selection process and if we do not feel your book is ready for publication, or it does not fit within our catalogue, we will not accept it. We have kept our prices as low as possible, to make professionally self-publishing your book a truly affordable experience.

We also view our authors as a part of the Castle Priory Press family and so our service does not end when you get your book in your hand. After publication, we will do our best to help you to promote your book. We will guide you through the different options available to you in terms of selling and promoting your book and in exceptional cases, we may offer to add your books to our own sales catalogue and take them to selling events we attend.

As our author numbers grow we will encourage them to follow us and share our posts - building our community and increasing sales.

​​​At the moment, whilst we offer a limited cover design service, we do not offer any editing services. However, we can direct you to people who offer these services if you require them.

We generally use KDP to publish your books, as we believe it is the most affordable and hassle-free platform for authors who do not want to be involved in the distribution side of their books. However, if you would prefer to use Ingram Sparks, please let us know and we can offer you an adjusted price (because Ingram Sparks charge to list books).
